Tolamo's media career was ignited in primary school where she grew up in Ikageng, Potchefstroom. By then, she was a creative writer, poet with a passion for public speaking 🎙
Where It All Started
At ten-years-old, she represented her school in reading and spelling competitions and went on to win the nationals 📢 This is where greatness was born 📣 She also joined a community radio station after winning a writing competition 🎉
Rapper / Musician
In 2018 she discovered her music talent, writing raps from her poetry rhymes. She makes conscious rap inspired by her upbringing and experiences 🎶 She also sings and her new music is a cultural representation of Setswana
Fashion Designer / Stylist
Although Tolamo grew up as a stylist, curating mind-blowing ouyfits, she only ventured into fashion designing in 2020. She owns a fashion label where she uses recyclable materials in innovative ways. Her signature textile is the orange sack (kgetsi) 🪡🧶🧵

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and we share every victim's thoughts and feelings. We inspire victims to find justice and healing. We call out all rapists and abusers to confess to their atrocities.

More than survivors
There are children, men and women in silence about their pain and one of the biggest causes of this silence is fear. Fear of judgement, fear of shame. There are children out there who do not even know they are being violated, famillies protecting perpetrators and law officials nonchalant about the scourge of sexual abuse.
To the girls and women in silence: we see you. We feel your ineffable inner suffering and we know how heavy it is to carry. We need you to see yourself as worthy of healing, worthy of understanding and worthy of support.
To the boys and men too ashamed to speak out: your trauma is not a measure of your manhood. Being masculine is not rooted in immunity to pain. You deserve healing without judgement.
And to all the abusers, rapists and terrorists: liars do not heal, liars cannot heal. Your mind knows what you did, your soul remembers. Healing requires honesty, healing requires compassion. The hate you give is the hate you will receive.

The University of Johannesburg (Soweto Campus) investigated the sexual assault that occured at one of its accredited accomodations - Twelve91 Investments whereby no efforts were made to uncover the truth.

Corruption Reeks!
Had the landlord not protected the rapist - Siphesihle "Spice" Ntlebi and released the footage, the rapist would have been convicted and his property residence - Twelve91 would have been unaccredited.
Release The Footage!
Puo News demands that the property owner releases the CCTV footage from the night of the incident as this footage can prove beyond reasonable doubt that a rape was indeed committed on the residence.
